Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bella Betrothed website and services. By accessing our website or purchasing or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Bella Betrothed provides wedding coordination, private planning consultations, digital planning resources and vendor advisory services to couples throughout Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.

Services

Bella Betrothed offers the following services:

• Private Planning Consultation — Focused one-on-one consultation sessions.
• The Signature Month-of Coordination Experience — Month-of coordination culminating in signature wedding-day direction.
• Advisor Atelier — A one-time digital vendor-advisory experience built from a private Wedding Brief.
• Wedding Rescue™ — A one-time wedding-planning intervention and personalized recovery-plan service.

A complimentary initial consultation is offered to prospective clients. Payment terms vary by service: scheduled consultations and coordination services may use deposits or contract-based payment schedules, while digital products and one-time advisory services are paid according to the amount shown at checkout.

Bookings & Payment

When you book a service, you agree to the following:

• Where a scheduled service requires a deposit, the amount and any remaining balance are shown before payment and in the applicable service agreement.
• Coordination balances are due according to the schedule stated in the signed service agreement.
• One-time digital and advisory purchases are charged at the amount displayed at checkout after payment is submitted and verified.
• Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
• Prices and service offerings are subject to change. Confirmed purchases and signed service agreements are honored at the agreed rate.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

This section applies to scheduled services unless a signed service agreement states different terms. Cancellations made 30 or more days before the scheduled service date may receive a refund of eligible balance payments, excluding any non-refundable deposit stated in the agreement. Cancellations within 30 days of the scheduled service date may forfeit amounts paid as provided in the applicable agreement. Rescheduling is subject to availability and should be requested at least 14 days in advance.

Intellectual Property

Planning documents, aesthetic reports, timelines, strategies and digital resources produced by Bella Betrothed remain Bella Betrothed intellectual property unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise. Upon full payment, the client receives the personal-use rights described in the applicable service agreement or digital-product license. We may use anonymized planning details for portfolio or marketing purposes unless you opt out in writing.

Digital Products & Personal-Use License

Digital templates, workbooks, guides, and timelines available for purchase through Bella Betrothed are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. After payment is confirmed, digital delivery is initiated to the purchaser using the contact information supplied at checkout. You may not redistribute, resell, share, reproduce, or create derivative works from these materials. Because these are digital goods, purchases are generally nonrefundable after successful delivery except where required by law or when Bella Betrothed is unable to provide the purchased files.

Wedding Rescue™

Wedding Rescue™ is a one-time, $500 wedding-planning intervention. After completed intake and verified payment, Bella Betrothed evaluates the submitted planning situation and provides a personalized recovery plan. The service is intended to organize priorities, identify next steps and provide planning guidance; it is not full-service wedding planning or day-of coordination.

Wedding Rescue™ guidance may address vendor, budget, timeline, logistics and decision-making concerns based on the information the client supplies. It does not guarantee that a vendor will be available, that a contract can be changed, that a specific financial outcome will occur, or that every wedding problem can be resolved.

The Wedding Rescue™ service is considered delivered when the personalized plan is made available to the purchaser. Because work begins after verified payment and the service produces personalized digital guidance, payments are generally nonrefundable after plan generation or delivery except where required by law or when Bella Betrothed is unable to provide the purchased service.

The Advisor Atelier

The Advisor Atelier is a one-time, $100 AI-enabled digital wedding-vendor advisory experience supported by Bella Betrothed's private curation standards. The purchase includes ninety days of interactive access to the personalized advisory workspace.

The Advisor Atelier includes the digital features displayed at checkout, including the Wedding Brief, personalized vendor recommendations, saved conversations, comparisons, Dream Team analysis and planning tools. It does not include a live consultation with Bella unless separately booked.

Interactive access begins after payment is successfully verified. When the interactive period ends, saved Wedding Brief information, conversations, recommendations, comparisons, planning records and Dream Team information remain available in read-only form for thirty additional days. New questions, edits, recommendations, comparisons and generated analyses are unavailable during the read-only period.

The digital experience is considered delivered when private access is activated. Because immediate digital access is provided, payments are nonrefundable after activation except where required by law or when Bella Betrothed is unable to provide the purchased access.

Vendor recommendations are advisory. They are not bookings, guarantees of availability, guarantees of current pricing, approval of every contract term or guarantees of vendor performance. Couples must confirm availability, pricing, insurance, scope and contract terms directly with each vendor.

The Advisor Atelier may present two sources of vendor matches. “Bella Curated” means the business has been selected for inclusion in Bella Betrothed’s curated collection based on available business information and curation standards; it does not necessarily mean Bella has worked directly with that business. Direct working experience is separately identified as “Bella-Experienced.” “Market Researched” means the business was identified through current public market research and matched to the client’s Wedding Brief while Bella’s personal evaluation remains pending.

Market Researched businesses are not represented as personally endorsed, booked, available, insured or contractually approved by Bella Betrothed. Public information may change. Clients are responsible for independently confirming identity, services, pricing, availability, insurance, reviews and contract terms.

Either source may be included in a client’s Dream Team because the Dream Team reflects personalized fit for the Wedding Brief. Source labels disclose evaluation status and do not guarantee future performance.

Unless expressly included under a separate written planning or coordination agreement, Bella Betrothed does not contact vendors, request proposals, negotiate terms, reserve dates, sign agreements or make payments on a client's behalf through the Advisor Atelier.

Proposal-comparison and contract-question guidance is educational and is not legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney for legal rights or contract interpretation.

Vendors do not pay to appear, rank or receive preferred placement. Any material relationship between Bella Betrothed and a recommended vendor will be disclosed.

Access does not renew automatically. A new purchase is required after the interactive and read-only periods end unless Bella Betrothed expressly offers a separate renewal option.

Electronic Communications & Signatures

By using our website and services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. Where you sign a service agreement through our electronic signing process, your typed legal name and affirmative consent constitute a legally binding electronic signature. You acknowledge that you have the right to request paper copies of any records, and that electronic records have the same legal effect as paper documents.

Accounts & Technical Information

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. We collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, and device data to secure and operate our platform. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Data Retention

We retain your booking, contract, and payment records for the duration of our service relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of personal data subject to our legal retention obligations.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Policy Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bella Betrothed's liability is limited to the fees paid for the applicable purchase or service agreement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for the acts of third-party vendors, weather conditions, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
