We are committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and visitors to our website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Contact information: Your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when you submit an inquiry or booking form.
• Celebration details: Wedding date, venue, guest count, budget range, and style preferences shared during consultations or through our intake forms.
• Payment information: Transaction details processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your card details on our servers.
• Uploaded files: Documents, inspiration boards, and other materials you choose to share with your consultant.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and personalize our wedding coordination, private consultation, digital-resource and vendor-advisory services.
• Communicate with you about your consultation, proposal, and celebration planning.
• Process payments and manage service contracts.
• Coordinate with trusted vendors as needed to support your celebration when you have separately authorized that communication or entered a planning or coordination agreement.
• Prepare purchased planning products, such as a Wedding Rescue plan, by processing the details you share through that service’s intake form with our AI language model solely to create your personalized plan.
• Improve our website, services, and client experience.

Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with payment, hosting, email, artificial-intelligence and other service providers that help us operate the website and deliver purchased services. Advisor Atelier information is not shared with recommended wedding vendors unless you separately request and authorize that communication or enter a planning or coordination agreement that requires Bella Betrothed to communicate with vendors on your behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, clients or safety.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information using secure storage, encrypted payment processing, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by contacting us at hello@bellabetrothed.com. Signed-in clients may submit an account-deletion request from Account Settings in the Client Atelier, or contact us by email. We review deletion requests and respond within a reasonable timeframe, subject to the retention obligations described below.

Account & Technical Information

When you create an account or log in, we collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device identifier, and usage data. This information is used to authenticate your session, secure your account, and improve site performance. We do not use this data to track you across third-party websites.

Advisor Atelier — Wedding Brief & AI Processing

When you use the Advisor Atelier service, we collect and process additional information to generate personalized vendor recommendations:

• Wedding Brief: Details you provide through the profile form, including your celebration date, venue, guest count, budget, aesthetic preferences, priorities, cultural and accessibility needs, and vendor categories of interest.
• Conversation History: Messages exchanged with the AI advisor are stored to maintain context across sessions and to generate summary reports. You may archive conversations through the current Advisor Atelier interface. You may also contact Bella Betrothed to request deletion, subject to financial, legal, security and record-retention obligations.
• AI Processing: Your wedding brief and conversation messages are processed by our AI language model to generate recommendations, fit analyses, and advisory content. This processing is conducted solely to provide you with personalized guidance.
• Vendor Data: Vendor information displayed in the Advisor Atelier may come from Bella Betrothed's curated library or, when you expressly opt in, current public market research. Available records may include official websites, service areas, publicly stated pricing and public review information, with verification dates shown when available. Vendor contact details are shared with you solely to facilitate your vendor search. Advisor Atelier information is not shared with recommended vendors unless you separately request and authorize that communication or enter a planning or coordination agreement that requires Bella Betrothed to communicate with vendors on your behalf.
• Access Expiration: Upon expiration of your interactive access, your wedding brief and conversation history are retained in read-only form for a thirty (30) day grace period. You may request deletion by contacting us, subject to financial, legal, security and record-retention obligations.
• Rate Limiting: For complimentary Advisor use, we create one-way hashes derived from the email you provide and server-observed connection information to enforce fair-use and abuse-prevention limits. Raw email addresses and raw connection identifiers are not stored in the rate-limit record. We also use a non-personal daily service-wide limit to protect the tool from automated overuse.

When a client expressly selects and consents to Market Researched options, Bella Betrothed may use artificial-intelligence and public web-research services to identify businesses that appear relevant to the Wedding Brief. Research records may include business names, public websites, service areas, publicly stated pricing, public review information and source links. Bella Betrothed does not send the client’s identity or private contact information to the businesses merely by researching them.

Operational Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party service providers to operate and secure our platform, including payment processing (Wix Payments / Base44 Payments), email delivery (Gmail), calendar synchronization (Google Calendar), cloud hosting, data storage, and Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse prevention on public forms, checkout, and interactive tools. Turnstile processes technical security signals needed to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic; Bella Betrothed does not send your wedding-form contents or Advisor messages to Turnstile for this purpose. These providers have access to information only as necessary to perform their functions and are obligated to protect it in accordance with applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Booking and contract records are retained for the duration of the service relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Contact inquiries are retained until resolved and for a reasonable period for record-keeping. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Digital Product Licensing

Wedding planning workbooks, guides, timelines, and other digital templates purchased through Bella Betrothed are licensed for your personal use only. You may not redistribute, resell, share, or reproduce these materials for commercial purposes. All intellectual property rights remain with Bella Betrothed unless otherwise stated in your service agreement.

Electronic Communications & Signatures

By using our website and services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including emails and notifications. Where you sign a service agreement electronically, your typed legal name constitutes a valid and binding electronic signature, and you consent to conduct transactions electronically. You may request paper copies of any records by contacting us.

Analytics & Measurement

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how visitors move through this website — for example, how many people begin a booking or reach the confirmation page. Any such measurement is limited to a fixed list of page and action events. We do not record the contents of your messages, your Wedding Brief, your Advisor conversations, payment identifiers, uploaded file names, or any other personal detail you enter. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, we do not record analytics events for your visit at all.
